Dow Corning has created an online service for glazing contractors needing print reviews, sample tests and warranties. The first of its kind, COOL (COnstruction OnLine) is an innovative Web-based system. You can do some very cool things with COOL:

As of November 8th, Dow Corning will no longer offer the Parking Structure Sealant line in cartridges, sausages and 2 gallon pails. This sealant will still be available in 4.5 gallon pails - both for the non-sag and self-leveling.

Use Dow Corning 888, 890SL or 902 as replacement products for the quart cartridges and sausages.

Smalley & Company has recently partnered with 3M to sell duct tape, foil tape, packaging tape and masking tape.

3M, one of our valued suppliers, provides a broad selection of innovative tape products that can help you succeed. We’re both committed to bringing you reliable, consistent, and performing products that meet your everyday needs.

Smalley will no longer purchase products from Shurtape due to the duplication of product offerings.

Many of our customers have inquired about purchasing products online. With that goal in mind, an upgrade has begun to allow Smalley & Company customers to order through the website.

We had expected to launch this feature by now, but we experienced more programming issues that must be corrected before live implementation. Programming delays are typical for an upgrade such as this. We are now anticipating a launch of sometime in the first quarter of 2012.

Currently, customers are able to view pricing, check stock levels, create a favorites list, download 'industry specific' product hotlists and receive notifications about supplier price changes. We believe the shopping cart can be an additional benefit to our customers.

We anticipate completing the upgrade by the first quarter of 2012.........
