One-component, polyurethane, hydrophobic injection resins with an optional accelerator to control setting times. They react with water to form a resilient and flexible plug that seals leaks in concrete structures. The required rate of expansion and reaction to water can be altered by temperature or by the amount of accelerator used. All three products cure as a closed-cell, polyurethane foam. They also withstand thermal expansion/contraction as well as freeze/thaw cycles. Locations for use include horizontal and vertical surfaces, both interior and exterior. 1210 IUG is an ultra-low viscosity and 1230 IUG is a low viscosity version of 1250 IUG. Applications include:
- Sealing leaking hairline and large cracks and joints in concrete and masonry.
- Sealing rock pockets and joints.
- Tunnels, manholes and culverts.
- Dams and water-treatment plants.
