Pecora Extru-seal Butyl Tape 1/8"x 3/8"x 25' Black Rl 24/cs
An elastomeric preformed polyisobutylene adhesive tape. It meets the requirements for ductile/cured rubber back bedding and glazing tapes for use with architectural aluminum and compounded for sealing with limited structural strength. Preformed sealant at 100% solids; no volatiles to escape to cause shrinkage and eventual failure. Glaze from inside without scaffolding with maximum transfer of wind load from glass to sash. Instant release - specially treated paper backing provides excellent release from tape. This permits faster application, saves labor, avoids waste and prevents tape distortion.
Designed for sealing and bedding glass and plastic vision lites (up to 100 united inches); metal and plastic panels, roof panels, lap joints and mullions.
